11/01/2018: Assailants armed with pistols shot and killed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother, Ajeet Parihar, in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
