10/13/2018: Assailants armed with sharp weapons attacked a police officer in Cherpal, Chhattisgarh, India. At least one assailant was killed and the officer and another assailant were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
