Incident Summary:

10/05/2018: Assailants armed with firearms attacked and beat up a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary election electoral officer at the Ethiope-East Local Government Council building in Ethiope East, Delta, Nigeria. Aside from the injured PDP electoral officer, there were no other reported casualties in the ensuing clash with police officers, but a police van was set on fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
