09/09/2018: Assailants abducted four Kurdish individuals, including Peshmerga members and civilians, from Youssef Bek, Khanaqin, Diyala, Iraq. The hostages were beheaded later the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
