09/03/2018: An Afghan National Police officer opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) soldiers at Camp Maiwand in Logar, Afghanistan. At least one US soldier, Sergeant Major Timothy A. Bolyard, was killed and another US soldier, Bryan McQueen, was injured in the assault. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
