09/02/2018: Assailants harassed and attempted to extort money from civilians in Villa Aurora, Aurora, Philippines. Security forces responded to the incident and killed two assailants in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
