08/28/2018: Assailants equipped with firearms attacked a police station in Pama, Est, Burkina Faso. There were no reported casualties, but the station was set on fire in the attack. This was one of two related incidents in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
