Incident Summary:

08/22/2018: Assailants opened fire on the district police station in Solle, Nord, Burkina Faso. There were no reported casualties as security forces repelled the assault. This was one of two attacks on police officers in Solle on this day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by Ansar al-Islam (Burkina Faso).
