08/15/2018: Assailants launched artillery and opened fire on police checkposts in Qalat, Zabul, Afghanistan. At least seven assailants and four police officers were killed and eight people, including five assailants and three police officers, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
