Incident Summary:

08/12/2018: Assailants attacked a polling station in Arkodia, Timbuktu, Mali. The chair of the polling station was shot and killed, four election workers were assaulted, and the polling station was set on fire in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
