Incident Summary:

07/30/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting the convoy of Haji Hayat Khan, a local militia commander and parliamentary candidate, in Ghazi Amanullah Khan, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, four people, including Khan and three of his bodyguards, were killed and at least one person was injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
