07/20/2018: Assailants abducted three migrant workers from Emerald Estate in Meppadi, Kerala, India. One hostage escaped the same day and the remaining two hostages escaped on July 21, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists, who denied involvement.
