07/17/2018: Assailants attacked military personnel in Zawo, Paktia, Afghanistan. At least 30 people, including 11 soldiers and 19 assailants, were killed while 24 people, including 10 soldiers and 14 assailants, were injured in the incident. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
