06/09/2018: Assailants attacked a military camp in Boni, Mopti, Mali. At least two soldiers and seven assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. This was one of two related attacks that occurred in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources suspected that Muslim extremists carried out the attacks.
