04/24/2018: Assailants opened fire at St. Ignatius Quasi Parish, a Catholic church, in Mbalom, Gwer East, Benue, Nigeria. At least 16 people, including two priests identified as Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha, were killed and a house was torched during the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.

Criteria 1
