Incident Summary:

04/18/2018: Assailants attacked security checkposts in Kohistan district, Faryab, Afghanistan. At least 10 people, including an uprising commander and nine assailants, were killed and seven assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
