Incident Summary:

04/12/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting a police vehicle responding to an earlier attack on a checkpost near Shindand, Herat, Afghanistan. Two police officers were killed and four were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in Shindand on the same night. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
