03/29/2018: Assailants abducted K. Shayamlal Mahto and Ghanshyam Mahto from their residences in Navadih, Jharkhand, India. The two hostages were shot and killed shortly after the kidnapping. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and accused the victims of being police informants.
