03/17/2018: Assailants attacked a Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkpoint in Almar district, Faryab, Afghanistan. Three assailants and one police officer were killed while three assailants and four police officers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
