Incident Summary:

03/14/2018: Assailants opened fire on the convoy of Abdelrahman Al-Sweli in Al-Ghanayma, between Gharyan and Yefren, Jabal Al Gharbi, Libya. Al-Sweli, the Council of State President, was not harmed, however, at least two security guards were injured and at least two Gharyan Security Authority police officers were abducted in the assault. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
