Incident Summary:

03/05/2018: Two suicide bombers attempted to attack Iraqi Volunteer Forces personnel in northern Babil governorate, Iraq. One assailant detonated, and the other assailant was killed by security forces; there were no reported casualties among the volunteer fighters. This was one of two related attacks targeting volunteer fighters in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
