Incident Summary:

03/03/2018: Assailants attacked a government primary school in Pacheshwari, Bihar, India. One person was killed and another person was abducted during the assault. The hostage was shot and killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) and stated that the victims were accused of being police informants.
