Incident Summary:

03/02/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a Somali National Army (SNA) base in Afgoye, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. In addition to the assailant, at least six people were killed and six people were injured in the blast; the victims included soldiers and civilians. This was one of two related attacks in the area on this date. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incidents.
