02/27/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting a military convoy between Tibu and Salazar de Las Palmas districts in Norte de Santander, Colombia. Five soldiers were killed and 10 soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
