02/17/2018: Assailants attacked security forces responding to reports of civilian harassment in San Isidro, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. At least one soldier and one assailant were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
