02/14/2018: Assailants abducted Enrico Nee, a Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) engineer, near his residence in San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu, Philippines. Nee was released on May 21, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
