02/11/2018: An explosive device detonated prematurely while being planted on the Palermo Bridge in Bochalema, Norte de Santander, Colombia. Two assailants were killed in the blast, and a second explosive device was discovered and defused at the site. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attempted attack to the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
