Incident Summary:

02/02/2018: Assailants attacked Intelligence Response Team (IRT) operatives in an attempt to abduct a white foreign national in Toto, Nasarawa, Nigeria. At least one IRT operative was killed and two other people were injured in the incident. The kidnapping attempt was unsuccessful. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
