01/31/2018: Assailants shot and killed Abdurahman Yahya Saleh, a tribal chief and member of the General People's Congress Party, in Bani Sira, Hajjah, Yemen. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah) and noted that the target refused that his sons be conscripted by the assailants.
