01/30/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) convoy of soldiers and civilian contractors in Idlib governorate, Syria. In addition to the assailant, at least one contractor was killed and two people, including a soldier and contractor, were injured in the blast. The Women's Protection Units (YPJ) claimed responsibility for the attack, although sources questioned the veracity of this claim.
