01/14/2018: Assailants armed with machetes attacked a military post in Kananga, Kasai-Central, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least four soldiers were killed and one soldier was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Kamwina Nsapu Militia carried out the attack.
