01/12/2018: Assailants attacked Ungwan Gajere village in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna state, Nigeria. Nine people were killed, an unknown number of people were injured, and houses were set on fire in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Birnin Gwari on this night. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
