Incident Summary:

01/13/2018: Assailants attacked an unknown number of military and police posts in Ghorak district, Kandahar, Afghanistan. Twenty-seven people, including four soldiers and 23 assailants, were killed and two security personnel were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
