01/10/2018: Assailants attacked an Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkpoint in Haji Mohib, Kunduz, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks targeting ALP checkpoints in the area on this date. Five ALP officers were killed and two officers were injured across both attacks; the assailants also sustained an undetermined number of casualties in the clashes. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.
