01/09/2018: Assailants raided a road construction camp in Jamakana near Lanjigarh, Odisha, India. An unknown number of workers were briefly held hostage and seven construction vehicles were set on fire during the attack. Maoists claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that the attack was carried out in opposition to the road construction project.
