Incident Summary:

01/00/2018: Sometime between December 31, 2017 and January 6, 2018, assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a police patrol between Badegadam and Munga in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, India. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police officials arrested a Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) commander in connection with the attack.
