Incident Summary:

12/23/2017: Assailants fired projectiles that landed and detonated in Maiyu, Shan, Myanmar. At least one person was killed and three other people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the incident was carried out by the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) or the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Both groups denied involvement.
