12/22/2017: Assailants attacked civilians attending a festival in Nindem, Jemaa, Kaduna, Nigeria. At least four people were killed and eight others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists. Sources also suspected that the incidents may have been carried out by Boko Haram.
