Incident Summary:

12/14/2017: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire targeting a police chief in Pusht Rod district, Farah, Afghanistan. At least one civilian and three assailants were killed and six people, including two civilians and four assailants, were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
