12/04/2017: Assailants threw an explosive device targeting Nepali Congress Party (NC) House of Representative candidate Gagan Thapa in Chapali, Province 3, Nepal. At least 11 people, including Thapa, were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand) carried out the attack.
