11/20/2017: A suicide bomber detonated targeting civilians at a market in Kolofata, Mayo-Sava, Extreme-North, Cameroon. In addition to the assailant, at least two civilians were killed and 20 others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
