Incident Summary:

10/28/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near the former parliament building in Mogadishu, Somalia. This was one of two coordinated suicide attacks in Mogadishu on this date. In addition to four assailants, at least 29 people were killed and more than 40 people were injured across both incidents; the victims included government officials, police officers, and civilians. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attacks.
