10/23/2017: Assailants abducted retired Superintendent of Police, Chief James Omafuaire, his wife, and one of his customers in Akoko-Edo, Edo, Nigeria. His wife was released the same day and Omafuaire and his customer were released on October 25, 2017. Fulani extremists claimed responsibility for the incident.
