09/08/2017: Assailants abducted six herders from Kamuya village, Yunusari, Yobe, Nigeria. Security forces pursued the assailants, killing two of them, and rescuing the six hostages. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
