Incident Summary:

09/08/2017: Assailants abducted Maulana Ali Muhammad Abu Turab, the Jamiat Ahle Hadith (JA) provincial leader, and three of his associates along Airport Road in Sheikh Manda neighborhood, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. Three of the hostages, including Turab, his son, and a guard, were released on June 15, 2018. The whereabouts of the fourth hostage, Turab's secretary, remain unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
