09/08/2017: Two suicide bombers detonated explosives targeting a National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) checkpoint in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. The two suicide bombers were killed and eight others were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
