08/19/2017: Assailants attacked police checkpoints in Khanqah, Uruzgan, Afghanistan. At least one police officer and 15 assailants were killed and 17 security personnel and ten assailants were injured in the ensuing clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the incident to the Taliban.
