Incident Summary:

07/25/2017: Assailants ambushed Moroccan peacekeepers working for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) in Bangassou, Mbomou, Central African Republic. At least two peacekeepers were killed and another peacekeeper was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to an anti-Balaka militia.
