Incident Summary:

07/23/2017: Security forces identified and arrested an assailant in an explosives-laden vehicle in Halabsah, western entrance to Fallujah, Al Anbar, Iraq. Following the arrest, the vehicle detonated as officials attempted to defuse it. Two police officers were killed and another was injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
