Incident Summary:

07/21/2017: Assailants opened fire on a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) patrol in Bangassou, Mbomou, Central African Republic. One assailant was killed in the ensuing clash. This was one of three related incidents in Bangassou on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to an anti-Balaka militia.
